Hi friends,
I received the most beautiful testimonial from one of my clients, Zehra Abid, the other day. She writes,
“In my secret life, I’m at my book launch at a cafe/bookstore in New York. Three people I recognize are in the room, among them is Tasha, super excited and cheering from the back row. (No pressure Tasha, it’s ok if you’re just there in spirit.)”
“But that’s the power of Tasha’s infectious energy. Me, who would never tell a soul that my dream is to be an author – can write this in a testimonial. She makes sure you know and BELIEVE that everything is possible, dreamable, achievable. And most certainly, she is cheering you on every step of the way.
“I didn’t take the one-on-one sessions to achieve any one particular goal or to reach one particular publication, I took this to put down on paper many ideas I’ve had for years now. In the one month we worked together, she made sure every single one of them was written down and worked and reworked many times. I have to say I didn’t always like her for it.
“But I always knew she was right. And now the publications say the same because right after I am done with this testimonial, I’ll get on to transcribing my interview for a piece for the Economist. Yes, the Economist. That’s the joy of being part of Tasha’s world. Here, we are never too small and no publication ever too big.”

I’ve been doing very little coaching these last few months because I’ve been putting all my energy into my own work, and of course, Bookish Pursuits. I’m in the group all day long and it’s really become a thriving community of authors that I not only love and respect, but continuously learn from.
One of my goals for Bookish Pursuits has been to ensure that every single person in there has everything they need, whenever they need it. That’s why I’ve kept the numbers limited. I want to make sure that everyone in our community is happy and looked after before I bring new people in.
Even though 1:1 coaching calls are not officially a part of Bookish Pursuits (we do emergency calls instead), members know that when they need help, they can reach out and I’ll be on the phone with them within the day. I’ve had 90-minute calls with people who’ve needed them, when they feel like they’ve lost confidence or are about to pitch agents or feel stuck with certain sections of their storytelling.
What I love most about the group is that there is no feeling of scarcity. We give advice freely, we make ourselves vulnerable to receive it, too. We’re all there for each other when we can be. And I show up as my best self, cheering you on, making sure that you are supported, and putting together resources that will help you on your next step. If that means creating a video specifically for you, I do it; if it means sitting with you and talking you through your next step, I do that, too.
If you, too, would like my help, support, and investment in you for a fraction of what it would cost to work with me privately, check out Bookish Pursuits. Outside of personal coaching, it’s the best way to get my personal input on your work.
I’ll see you there.
Cheers,
Natasha
